STANDARD "UNCONTESTED" DIVORCE/LEGAL SEPARATION:
This is for a standard uncontested divorce where both parties can agree on the terms. This fee includes preparation of all necessary documents, the necessary copies, filing of all necessary documents with the Court and notarization of signatures for the final judgment. It also includes serving of documents to the other party via mail (notice and acknowledgment) and any correspondence between our office and our client. If personal service is required, the party is responsible for said fees. Our office can refer you to several different process servers if needed.
This fee can be made in two payments. It would be $200 to start the action and then $200 to finish the action approximately 30 days later.

Fee is the same for contested dissolutions unless major issues arise.
SUMMARY DISSOLUTIONS
This is for a standard Summary Dissolution. A Summary Dissolution is used for couples who have been married less than five years, no children, minimal debt, neither party owns real property anywhere in the world, neither party wants spousal support and when both parties agree. (Some other restrictions apply). This fee includes preparation of all necessary forms, necessary copies, filing of all documents with the Court and mailing/taking in the final judgment. It also includes any correspondence between our office and our client.

PATERNITY ACTIONS
This fee includes preparation of all necessary documents, the necessary copies, filing of all necessary documents with the Court and scheduling mediation/orientation. It also includes serving of documents to the other party via mail (notice and acknowledgment) and any correspondence between our office and our client. If personal service is required, the party is responsible for said fees. Our office can refer you to several different process servers, if needed.
A paternity action is used when you have a child with another party but have never been married.
This fee can be made in two payments. It would be $200 to start the action and then $200 to finish the action approximately 30 days later.

FINISH AN EXISTING CASE:
This fee includes preparation of all necessary documents, the necessary copies, filing of all necessary documents with the Court and notarization of signatures for the final judgment. It also includes serving of documents to the other party via mail (notice and acknowledgment) and any correspondence between our office and our client. If personal service is required, the party is responsible for said fees. Our office can refer you to several different process servers if needed. This fee may increase depending on exactly how much work needs to be done on your case. Each case is different so it is hard to estimate final cost without looking at your file.

ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE/MOTIONS:
If you wish to change child support/spousal support/child custody/child visitation and are already divorced or have an Order Establishing Paternity, our office can assist you with the forms and paperwork to complete the process.
This fee includes preparation of all necessary documents, the necessary copies, filing of all necessary documents with the Court. It also included obtaining your hearing date and any correspondence between our office and our client. If personal service is required, the party is responsible for said fees. Our office can refer you to several different process servers.
If the motion is filed concurrently with the beginning of an action our office handles, the fee is $150.00
Otherwise the fee is:
$250.00 to 300.00
(The fee may be more than $250 if your motion requires excessive typing of declarations)
RESTRAINING ORDERS
This fee includes preparation of all necessary documents, the necessary copies, filing of all necessary documents with the Court. It also includes our help in finding you a process server to serve the documentation, as well as any correspondence between our office and our client.

FILING OF A RESPONSE
This fee includes preparation of all necessary documents, the necessary copies, filing of all necessary documents with the Court and notarization serving of documents to the other party via mail, as well as any correspondence between our office and our client.

This fee includes the preparation of a Will and a Medical Directive.

RUSHES
If
you are in need of services that must be filed in the court within 24
hours or less after contacting us, a "rush" fee may be charged.

EXCESSIVE ITEMIZATIONS:
Excessive itemizations occur when you ask us to "itemize" more than twenty-five (25) items in your divorce/legal separation paperwork. Excessive items include household furniture, furnishings, and appliances, etc. in your divorce documentation.

EXCESSIVE RE-PRINTS:
Excessive re-prints occur when a set of forms we mail to you are "lost", "misplaced", or "never received" more than once. We do our best to mail out everything to you in a timely manner. We rely on you to keep us updated on any change of address for which may occur.

EXCESSIVE CHANGES:
Excessive
changes occur when our office has prepared your paperwork according to
your requests and then you wish to make more than two signficant
changes. We count on you to give us all the information necessary to
move forward with your action in the beginning of your process so money
and time is not wasted.
